Edward James "Ted" Koppel (born February 8, 1940) is an American broadcast journalist, best known as the former anchor for the American Broadcasting Company's Nightline. Koppel is currently a senior news analyst for National Public Radio and the British Broadcasting Corporation. Koppel recently ended a partnership with Discovery communications.
